This interactive gallery lets you explore every winning image from the history of Northwestern University's annual scientific images contest, "Capturing the Beauty of Science." * Pinch and zoom to reveal amazing details and create unique, artistic compositions. * Save your explorations to your iPhone's camera roll. * Share them on Facebook and help us celebrate the importance, interest, and impact of scientific research. Judged by a panel of local artists, scientists and community leaders, each image is representative of real Northwestern research across a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, chemistry, engineering and nanotechnology.
